Division 2 crown up for the taking

EMU blows out Cleveland State in opener
11/20 - Eastern Michigan opened their 2009-10
dual meet season with a bang last night as they
won 8 of 10 matches in Cleveland last night
against Cleveland State.  Josh Lewis, David
Wade (pictured), and Justin Brandel all scored
falls for the Eagles.  Also scoring bonus points for
EMU was Andrew Novak, Frank Sade, and JJ

11/16 - Michigan's best collegiates were on display at the MSU Open last weekend in East Lansing.  Two Michiganders won titles in the Open Division - Franklin Gomez of MSU and Anthony Biondo of Michigan.  Click the headline for a full recap.

MCC, GVSU crown champs at McMullen
11/15 - Muskegon Community College hosted the Ben McMullen Open this weekend and both Muskegon and Grand Valley State crowned a champion on the day as Matt Fetterley of Muskegon won the 174lb title and Grand Valley's John Aiken won the 197lb championship.  Former Mason High School standout Jacob Burge claimed the 184lb title competing for North Idaho College.  Click the headline to see all the placewinners.




Hilyard commits to Michigan
11/15 - Michigan Grappler received word over the weekend that 2x State Finalist Zeb Hilyard of Hudson has committed to the University of Michigan.  The top 50 recruit was 2nd last year at 119lbs and won the state title two years ago at 112.
